Intermixed are scenes of the Nordberg engine, Collins radio, President Truman dedicating the ship, balloon antenna, A.M. frequency inverted Delta antenna, the grounding cage, the ship at Rhodes, Greece, and other views.  After Courier finished its Cold War mission, it was made in to a reserves training ship and was given a red cigar stripe.  

 

Learn about the Sixth Fleet.  It's presence played a role in Courier's security.
